Never grows old
In a recycling bin were:
Thirteen cans and a bottle of various heights, widths, colors, and brands and each had some degree of wear and tear. Each different in its own way; sounds just like us!
These receptacles will soon enjoy a better life; no longer discarded by the wayside, they will be recycled, made new again. This applies to people as well. People can be renewed; patched up and made whole.
They can feel like they are important, valued by at least one person. It all begins by noticing them and being kind and interested and treating them as we would want to be treated.
After all, they are People Just Like Us
